ASHRAE Issues Call for Comments on Multiple Standards
December 17, 2015

ASHRAE has issued an invitation for public comments on the following items.

ASHRAE Standard 41.2P, Standard Methods for Air Velocity and Airflow Measurement: Prescribes methods for air velocity and airflow measurement, including consideration of density effects.
ASHRAE Standard 110P, Method of Testing Performance of Laboratory Fume Hoods: Specifies a quantitative and qualitative test method for evaluating fume containment of laboratory fume hoods.
ASHRAE Standard 199P, Method of Testing the Performance of Industrial Pulse Cleaned Dust Collectors: Provides a quantitative laboratory test method for determining the performance of industrial pulse cleaned dust collectors using a test dust.

Comments related to the standards listed above are due to ASHRAE by December 28, 2015.

Additionally, public comment is solicited in reference to the following standards.

ASHRAE Standard 41.8P, Standard Methods for Liquid Flow Measurement: Prescribes methods for liquid flow measurement and applies to laboratory and field liquid flow measurement for testing HVACR systems and components.
• Advisory Public Review Draft of ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 211P, Standard for Commercial Building Energy Audits: Establishes consistent practices for conducting and reporting audits for commercial buildings.

Comments related to the standards listed above are due to ASHRAE by January 4, 2016.
